The Father's Love

THE FATHER'S LOVE

Ephesians 3:14-19 NLT, When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.”

Jesus said, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. and Love your neighbor as yourself." Deuteronomy 6:4

1 John 4:19, "We love because he first loved us."

  • Is A Love That Constantly Pursues Us

Ephesians 1:4-12, “Long before he laid down earth's foundations, he had you in mind, had settled on you as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love. Long, long ago he decided to adopt you into his family through Jesus Christ. He wanted you to enter into the celebration of his lavish gift-giving by the hand of his beloved Son. He thought of everything, provided for everything we could possibly need, letting you in on the plans he took such delight in making. He set it all out before us in Christ, a long-range plan in which everything would be brought together and summed up in him, everything in deepest heaven, everything on planet earth. It's in Christ that you find out who you are and what you are living for. Long before you first heard of Christ and got your hopes up, he had his eye on you, had designs on you for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone.”

Ephesians 3:14-17, “May your roots go down deep into the soil of God's marvelous love; and may you be able to feel and understand as all God's children should, how long, how wide, how deep, and how high his love really is; and to experience this love for yourselves.”
