Sin.
Sin is doing something God said not to do,
or not doing something that God said To do.

John 10:10, “A thief comes only to steal and to kill and to destroy. I have come so that they may have life and have it in abundance.”

James 1:15,16, “Each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.”

Matthew 4:1, “Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.”
